Advanced Pistol, Carbine & Scenarios
DAY 1 Pistol and Carbine: Class Begins at 1300
The pistol section reinforces the General Handgun Course and teaches students how to effectively and safely utilize a pistol or revolver. It will test combat shooting skills while moving, shooting and engaging multiple targets.
+ Marksmanship
+ Drawing from a holster in a tactical and rapid manner
+ Malfunction drills (Instinctively assessing and rapidly correcting problems with the handgun)
+ Various firing positions and actions for each
+ Shooting on the move
The rifle section teaches the student how to effectively manipulate a rifle using advanced level skills.
+ Handling the gun+ Marksmanship
+ Various firing positions and uses for each
+ Sling use, drawing from the slung position
+ Ammunition management
+ Mindset
+ Weapon Retention (Techniques on how to keep your weapon from being taken away by an attacker)
+ Close Quarters Conflict
+ Transition Drills (Switching from the use of the carbine to a pistol in a defensively tactical situation)
DAY 2 Scenarios: Class Begins at 1000
Day 2 teaches the student how to work as a team to solve tactical problems, decision-making, and evaluating a student’s ability to effectively apply force during potentially life threatening emergencies. Student will be required to effectively deal in non-lethal force on force situations.

+ 300 rounds Pistol
+ Flashlight
+ Carbine with sling
+ 300 rounds carbine ammo. (no armor piercing)
+ Two magazines for carbine (if applicable)
+ Knee and elbow pads
+ Hat
+ Belt
+ Shirt with sleeves
+ Warm jacket (optional)
+ Bug Spray (optional)
+ Sack Lunch (optional)
+ Thin Gloves (optional)
+ Marking cartridge gun & 150 rounds ammo. (optional)
