Disaster Preparedness Pistol

Course Category:
Skill Level:

NOTE: THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT COURSE STARTING AT 9AM ON THE FIRST DAY AND ENDING AT 12NOON ON THE SECOND DAY.

This is the next evolution in our Disaster Preparedness courses!!

This class will focus on two major factors; First, skills that will help support yourself while effecting self-rescue with the major concern being field craft and situational awareness in a post disaster environment. Second, fighting from a concealed condition while carrying a 72 hour kit and the issues associated with post disaster defense. The class will be conducted over an approximately 24-30 hour period and will include an overnight stay on the range.

All live fire training will be conducted with the student wearing their 72 hour kit (pack and water) in order to expose the issues and fatigue of wearing a heavy pack while moving and shooting.

The field craft skills section will cover, selection and establishment of a RON (remain over night) position, water procurement, personal security and basic land navigation. This course will focus on the skills and tactics needed to survive with a minimum amount of equipment in a post disaster situation.
