The Defend-X® NIJ Certified Lightweight Level III Multi-Hit Hard Armor Plate is certified to defeat rifle threats of 7.62 X 51mm FMJ NATO BALL and has been independently tested to stop higher threats such as 7.62 X 54R and other 30.06 projectiles. This plate will stop AK47, 7.62 X 39mm, AK74, 5.45 X 39mm with mild steel core and all lower assault/hunting rifle cartridges, including ALL handgun projectiles.
