- NRA Shotgun Instructor, Friday & Saturday, October 21-22, http://ftatv.com/nra-instructor-course-shotgun
NRA Instructor courses are discipline specific. Candidates are required to satisfactorily complete eight (8) hours on the NRA Basic Pistol Course previous to attending the rifle course, and demonstrate solid and safe firearms handling skills. This course includes classroom and range time learning how instruct others in the use of shotguns. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, etc. Role-playing is a major part of an instructor course. Students will be working in teams, actually conducting portions of the course to other students. Please contact us for complete class details.

This course is a must for CCW holders and gun owners as a whole. This class is specifically geared for the individual interested in carrying a concealed handgun. The course teaches the student to effectively and safely utilize a pistol or revolver from a concealed position. The course will include the basic fundamentals of shooting, drawing a handgun from a concealed location in a tactical and rapid manner, loading and unloading, mindset of situational awareness, malfunction drills, engaging multiple targets at varying distances, hooting on the move, shooting in a low light situation. As we all know a great number of situations occur during darkness, low light situational training is an absolute must. DON’T MISS OUT!

Zombie Attack!!! Pistol/Shotgun Night Shoot- Saturday, October 29, 1pm to 9pm http://ftatv.com/zombie-attack-pistolshotgun-night-shoot
Don't miss this course! The course works on advanced pistol and shotgun skills, barricades, shooting on the move, multiple targets, loading and transition drills, non-traditional response (multiple hits), low light and night operations with force on force, building clearing, and combatives to enhance combat/self-defense situations. The course will include reactive targets and force on force role-playing.
If the Zombies come there will be lots of shooting!!!

Advanced Live Fire Entry- Sunday, October 30, 9am-5pm http://ftatv.com/advanced-live-fire-entry

The course is designed to teach individuals to work as a team, utilizing Entry Techniques and engaging multiple targets with Marking Cartridges. This course teaches the student how to safely and effectively utilize a pistol or revolver during close quarter conflict. Previous firearms experience is strongly encouraged.

The course teaches the student how to effectively and safely utilize a pistol or revolver. This class reinforces the General Handgun Course. It will test combat shooting skills while moving, shooting and engaging multiple targets. Upon completion of the course, the student should be proficient with:

+ Handling the gun
+ Marksmanship
+ Drawing from a holster in a tactical and rapid manner
+ Malfunction drills (instinctively assessing and rapidly correcting problems with the handgun)
+ Various firing positions and actions for each
+ Shooting on the move
+ Increasing target distances
+ Running engagement courses
+ Scenario shooting
+ Action shooting
+ Engaging multiple targets at conversational distances and beyond
+ Mindset of situational awareness and mental conditioning as applied to handgun use

J. Stafford Krav Maga- Saturday & Sunday, November 5 & 6, 9am to 5pm http://ftatv.com/j-stafford-krav-maga
This course is taught by Jeremy, a police officer with over 14 years experience and has spent 13.5 years in the Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Reserve. This class will teach you how to handle volatile situations with a positive outcome. Of course we always prefer to avoid a bad situation, however there are those times it is just not possible. Whether you are at work, or at a ball game, sometimes stuff just happens. This class will teach to us use what ever is available at the time to protect ourselves and family.

General Handgun- Saturday & Sunday, November 12 & 13, 9am-5pm http://ftatv.com/general-handgun

The course teaches the student how to effectively and safely utilize a pistol or revolver. This class saturates the student with the fundamentals through repetition to create "muscle memory" or an instinctive response. Upon completion of the course, the student should be proficient with:

+ Safety rules and procedures
+ Handling the gun
+ Marksmanship
+ Fundamentals
+ Drawing from a holster in a tactical and rapid manner
+ Stance
+ Malfunction drills (i.e., instinctively assessing and rapidly correcting problems with the handgun)
+ Loading and unloading
+ Engaging targets at conversational distances
+ Mindset of situational awareness and mental conditioning as applied to handgun use

Long Range Rifle- Saturday & Sunday, November 12 & 13, 8:30am to 4:30pm http://ftatv.com/long-range-rifle

This is a course you DO NOT want to miss.

This course will teach fundamentals using optics to achieve first round accuracy up to 800 yards. Upon completion of the course, you will leave with the ability to estimate distance and the effects of windage. Each student will shoot approximately 250 rounds, working up to 800 yards on steel targets. This class is not limited to caliber or weapon type. The instructors will sharpen your skills and assist with equipment recommendations.
