Level 1 - 20 Hours
The purpose of the training class is to expose the student to the proper use of the flashlight and weapon in a low light environment, use of force techniques, force on force entry situations and building searching technique and threat identification. The Surefire Institute has been the leader in flashlight training and instructor development.
Students will receive a SureFire handheld flashlight (to keep) and discounts on all future SureFire purchases.

+ Fundamental tactical concepts
+ Using hand-held flashlights with firearms
+ Lighting tools review
+ Teaching low-light tactics
+ Entry techniques
+ Weapon Mounted Lights
Equipment: (Equipment can be provided, upon request in advance)
+ Duty Belt
+ Eye and ear protection (clear eyes)
+ 300 Rounds Pistol ammunition
+ 10 Rounds 12 gauge
+ 20 Rounds 223 factory ammunition
+ Shotguns and carbines will be provided for student familiarization
+ Ammunition marking cartridges and gun - 100 rounds per person – (Force on Force Safety Equipment, Guns and Marking Cartridges may be provided upon request for an additional $50.00)
