The ultimate role of the pistol for self-defense, is to fight to get you to a long gun. The carbine enhances our survival with accuracy and stopping power. A basic rule is that long guns win gunfights. This class is designed to use your pistol to fight to obtain a long gun.  We start using pistols in a close quarters conflict and build our skills, speed, accuracy with movement. We will engage with a pistol and transition to a carbine, building the same skillset.  Working malfunctions, using the pistol to support carbine operations and transition skills. This is an advanced course, with pre-requisites. At minimum, the student should have completed General Handgun, Advanced Pistol, General Carbine, and Advanced Carbine.

Equipment Required:
+ Carbine with a sling (with or without weapon-mounted light and/or optics)
+ Pistol (with or without red dot and/or weapon-mounted light)
+ 3 magazines minimum for carbine and pistol (each)
+ Holster, Belt, Pistol Magazine Pouches, Carbine Magazine Pouches
+ Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection recommended)
+ Handheld Flashlight
+ Knee and Elbow Pads (optional)
