TRAINING-CLOSE QUARTER CONFLICT
This course may not be available to all students so please call first. Upon completion of this course, the student is provided instruction in:
+ Handgun skills refresher course
+ Mindset - mental conditioning
+ Barricade shooting
+ Shooting on the move
+ Close quarters battle
+ Responsibilities of using deadly force
+ Tactics lecture
+ Dry walk-through
+ Live fire entry with marking cartridges* (see below)
+ Limited force on force
Equipment Needed: (Equipment can be provided, upon request in advance)
+ Eye and ear protection
+ Handgun
+ Holster
+ Ammunition carrying devise
+ 2 magazines or 1 speed loader
+ Belt
+ Shirt with sleeves
+ Hat
FTA will provide: Weapons and marking cartridge ammunition
Ammunition provided by the student: 500 round (minimum)
* Marking cartridges are used in an actual gun that has been fitted with a special barrel. When the gun is fired, a plastic projectile filled with colored soap is discharged from the gun and "marks" the target.
