Introduction to Precision Rifle Target Engagement
**This course is the prerequisite course to our Precision Rifle Target Engagement lineup of courses.***
In this 2 day class, we will focus on the necessary requirements/fundamentals to engage targets in a precise manner. We start by checking your rifle and scope to verify that your equipment is appropriately setup for you, square to bore, and can perform in various shooting positions. After lecture, we then proceed to the range for Zero and chronograph data and begin your DOPE logbook for your weapon system. We will then work fundamental exercises to refine your ability to shoot groups at 100 and 200 yards. This course is a great way to refine your skillset for hunting and precision rifle target engagement.
Upon completion of the course, the student should be proficient with:

+ Marksmanship
+ Various firing positions and uses for each
+ Building a stable shooting position
+ DOPE log entry information
+ Mindset
+ Cleaning and Maintenance
Equipment / ammunition:
+ Rifle with sling and bipod
+ Eye and ear protection
+ Knee and elbow pads, spotting scope/binoculars (optional)
+ Shooting mat
+ Two magazines for Rifle (if applicable)
+ Data Log Book
+ 200 rounds ammo minimum. (No steel core, armor piercing or SS109/M855 US)
This is a TWO-DAY Course. The course dates run consecutively.
