N.R.A. Instructor Course - Rifle

NRA Instructor courses are discipline specific. Candidates are required to satisfactorily complete 14 hours of the NRA Rifle Instructor Course and demonstrate solid and safe firearms handling skills.

 

This course includes classroom and range time learning how instruct others in the use of rifles. Students learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling, rifle parts and operation, etc. Role-playing is a major part of an instructor course. Students will be working in teams, actually conducting portions of the course to other students.

 

Prerequisite:
+ NRA Basic Instructor Training Certification (completed within the last 24 months)
+ NRA Basic Rifle Course

 

Equipment:
+ Rifle 
+ Eye and Ear Protection
+ Belt
+ 50 rounds ammunition for rifle (minimum)
+ Sack Lunch (Optional, you will get a 1hr lunch break each day)
